Kaduna Killings: Reps raise alarm over planned attack on Southern Kaduna by armed Bandits
The Southern Kaduna Caucus of the house of Representatives has raised alarm over the alleged plot by armed militias to launch attack Southern Kaduna villages and towns immediately after the Eid Maulud celebration.
The lawmakers made this claim while briefing newsmen on the helpless situation of their people despite entreaties by the people for government intervention to save their soul as raiding, kidnapping and Killings continue unabated.
Southern Kaduna towns and villages have degenerated into a theater of killings, kidnapping and constant raiding by arm bandits who leave behind tales of woes in these communities.
This is why Lawmakers from the zone are calling on the federal government for urgent intervention before the entire zone is wiped out from the Nigerian map.
According to them their people have become preys in their own country and afraid the people may be forced to take the laws in their hands if the situation continues
They called on members of their constituencies to be law abiding in the face of these provocation.
The Lawmakers advised against unguarded statements by people in authority saying that their primary responsibility is to serve, heal and unite the people, rather than fanning embers of war, hate and discrimination.
They however, called for the arrest, investigation, prosecution and conviction of the attackers to serve as deterrent to others.
