The chairman senate committee on industries sen.Francis Fadahunsi says his committee will work closely all agencies under ministry of industries to ensure the committee provide conducive legislative environment that will promote greater Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs), ease the doing of business by all investors.
According to sen. Fadahunsi the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) will attaining increased efficiency in
revenue generation and budgetary expenditure by Government Agencies
under the Oversight of his Committee.
He congratulated all the member of the committee to found worthy by their respective Constituents and the Senate Leadership to be elected into the 10th Senate and serve into the important Committee like industries that is driving force in Nigeria economy.
He highlighted the task ahead
before the Committee which he says are enormous in both actions and inactions that will contribute significantly to the success of Nigeria economy development these includes:
1. Standardization and quality control,
2. Industrial development matters generally,
3. Incentive for industrial development,
4. National industrial planning,
5. Small-scale Industries,
6. Aid to industries,
7. Heavy Industries set up by the Federal Government of Nigeria,
8. Participation of Small BusinessS enterprises, procurement, and
Government contracts,
Promotion and administration
9. n of technology y transfer programmes,
10. Industrial financing,
11. Privatization and commercialization.
12. Industrial Training Fund, and
13. Annual budget estimates.
According Sen. Fadahunsi,the committee beamed its search lights on the Automotive Industry; its regulatory Agency the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) and the many Auto Assembly/Manufacturing Plants in Nigeria.
The committee commended the Federal Government in it key approach to ameliorate the negative impact of the fuel subsidy removal on citizens, among other seasons.

Bola Tinubu on October 1st said that the Federal Government would make
provision for 55,000 CNG Conversion Kits to kick-start the auto-conversion
programme.
