The Pan African Chamber of Culture, Trade and Investment, has appointed Ambassador Irene Ekeoma Nwagbara, as the West African Regional Director. Her choice was premised on her wealth of experience in the development space.
In line with the objectives of PANACCTI, she will be the focal point for coordinating and advancing programs that will promote economic integration, competition, inclusive growth, advocacy, implementation of policies and sustainable development frameworks that align with the goals of the African Continental Free Trade (AfCTA), African Union Agenda 2063 and other relevant documents.
Ambassador Irene Ekeoma Nwagbara is highly skilled and experienced Socio-Economic Development and Corporate Governance personnel with over 20 years of expertise in creating sustainable impact through effective socio-economic development strategies and ensuring robust corporate governance practices within organizations. She possesses deep understanding of the complexities of inclusive and equitable policies and programs.
With a strong background in her field of expertise, she possesses a deep understanding of industry and organizational trends and best practices and passion for imparting knowledge and helping individuals and organizations to reach their full potentials by delivering tailored strategic engagement and impactful interventions.
She has displayed significant accomplishment in discharging her duties as fund manager, project coordinator, business developer and support consultant, trainer, sector reform strategist, project monitoring/evaluation specialist and research analyst working with organizations such as Doctors Without Borders (MSF), EU-WATSAN/PMU, Center for Health Economics and Development (CHECOD), Information Marketing and Management Institute (IMMI), Academic PeaceWorks among others.
As a Consultant, Amb Irene rendered technical services to organizations such as Federal/State Ministries of Health and its MDAs, PATHS2(DFID/UKFunded), UNFPA, National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), UNICEF, Save the Children Int’l, Quintessential Community Based Coral Health Initiatives and so on.
Furthermore, Amb Irene is a public speaker and a champion of micro- business development and safety nets strategies for the informal sector populace. She is passionate about community development
Currently Amb Irene Nwagbara serve as Chief Business Development and Economic Affairs under the office of the Deputy Secretary General, African Affairs and Head of Secretariat/Corporate Affairs of Pan African Chamber of Culture Trade and Investment. Also she is the Vice President Panaccti Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, West African Director on Project & Advocacy with the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) and Founder/C.E.O. of Farm Empire Ventures.
She is a member of the African Monitoring and Evaluation Hub, Quintessential Business Women Association, Health Workers Trainers Network, Global Women Leadership Network, Sisters Society of Nigeria, Pan African Women Financial and Economic Inclusion, Jesus and Friends Impart Initiative, International Human Rights Commission, World Credit Union, National Assembly Business Environment Round Table (NASBER) Expert Network, etc.
Irene is a Renowned Researcher (CHECOD), Certified Trainer (DFID), Certified Health Economist from World Bank Institute (USA) and certified Monitoring and Evaluation from AMREF (Kenya). She has a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Peace and Conflict Resolution, Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Public Policy; a graduate from School of Humanities and Social Science with BA in English Language (major), French and Germany (electives). Master in Business Administration (MBA) and Masters (MA) in Community Communication.
