In a bid to enhance healthcare services for his constituents, Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, distributed drugs worth millions of naira to healthcare centers in the region on Tuesday.
Senator Moro emphasized the importance of bridging medical gaps in the district due to the increasing costs of drugs. He urged health workers in the benefiting healthcare centers to utilize the drugs effectively to ensure that the rural population benefits from them.
The Senator has played a significant role in improving healthcare facilities in the area, with the successful establishment of four healthcare centers in Okpokwu, Ado, Oju, and Ohomini LGAs. Additionally, he has facilitated the construction of healthcare centers in Otukpo, Obi, Agatu, and Apa LGAs, as outlined in the 2024 budget.
