The Chief Executive Officer of AIBEN Properties Ltd, Chief Dr. Andy Elerewe, has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to community wellness, social responsibility, and nation-building through meaningful partnerships.
Speaking at the recently concluded Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT 2025 Football Tournament, Dr. Elerewe described the collaboration with the NUJ FCT Council as a “privilege,” applauding the institution as “very trustworthy.”
“For us at AIBEN, it is vital to create platforms where people can come together to network, foster wellness, and enjoy life beyond work,” he said, emphasizing the company’s broader mission beyond real estate development.
Highlighting AIBEN’s sponsorship of the tournament for the past two years, Dr. Elerewe praised the initiative for blending recreation, networking, and skill exchange. He commended NUJ FCT Chairperson, Comrade Grace Ike, for her foresight in creating such a program.
“Kudos should be given for creating an initiative that truly enhances wellness and camaraderie among members,” he noted.
The AIBEN boss further stressed that supporting institutions like NUJ contributes to national development, calling on other corporate bodies to emulate AIBEN’s example. He added that AIBEN remains committed to supporting those who face injustice, promoting fairness, and building a better society.
On health, he lauded the tournament for offering participants a chance to improve their wellbeing through sport. “We believe health is wealth, and better platforms like this encourage a healthier lifestyle,” he remarked.
The event also saw AIBEN Properties emerge victorious in the NUJ FCT Council 2026 Novelty match, defeating Nigeria Customs 3-1 in a thrilling encounter that underlined their competitive spirit and community involvement.
In her remarks, NUJ FCT Chairperson Comrade Grace Ike expressed deep gratitude to AIBEN for taking the role of title sponsor. She praised the company’s commitment to community development and youth empowerment, noting that it aligns perfectly with NUJ’s vision.
She also commended players, coaches, and officials for ensuring that the tournament was conducted with fairness and integrity.
The tournament, beyond the goals scored, reinforced the power of sports as a unifying tool for wellness, networking, and nation-building values AIBEN continues to promote.
