The Concerned Arewa Civil Society of Nigeria has stated that for the sake of equity, fairness and justice,the Presidency must shift to the South, preferably the South East in 2023.
The spokesperson of the group made this known at a press conference held on Wednesday March ,23 , 2022 at the Arewa House, Kaduna North Local Government Area of Kaduna State .
The group also warned that it is ready to frustrate and work against any Northerner that indicates interest in the Presidency come 2023
Comrade Kazeem Futher stated that the South East should be allowed to produce the next President since the South West has had two of its sons as President and Vice President for 8 years and 7 years respectively .
