The member representing Yakurr/Abi Federal Constituency of Cross River State at the National Assembly, Honourable Alex Egbona says the victory of the All Progressive Congress (APC) at the just concluded general elections is as result of hardworking and zoning arrangement in the state.
Hon. Egbona stated these while speaking to Journalists in his office at the National Assembly in Abuja.
According to him, the governor of the state Prof.Ben Ayade with his sincerity believe zoning system in the state that all zone should be given equal opportunity to rule the state.
Hon. Egbona according to him, Nigeria should not be taken for granted because of current political wave across the Country, that this has giving electorates the power to decide who govern them on like the previous years where the highest bidder is always the winner.
Hon Egbona believe that with the consolidation of the achievement in the last general election,electorate now now power to know who lead in near further.
According o him, his election in 2019 as the only APC elected lawmaker in Cross River State was as a result of sincerity, hardworking and believe his people have on him.
He says the last election has shown every politician a needs to go back to the grass roots because power belongs to the people.
He condemn those call for Interim government in Nigeria as enemy of democracy that Judiciary is the element of democracy.
He says, there’s room for improvement anyway, while conversing for a complete electronic voting in the subsequent elections, adding that to a large extent the BVAS has improve electoral system in Nigeria.
