Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has applauded the member representing Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency, Hon. Kabiru Amadu, popularly known as Mai Palace, for his impactful grassroots initiatives aimed at transforming the lives of his constituents.
At a well-attended ceremony held on Sunday at the Government House in Gusau, Hon. Amadu distributed over 100 vehicles, including cars and tractors, to individuals across his constituency. This follows a similar gesture in April, when he donated 100 motorcycles to youths and other community members to ease mobility challenges.
The Governor, through a statement by his spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, described the lawmaker’s interventions as timely and complementary to the state government’s efforts in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and security.
“I am deeply impressed by the array of initiatives that Hon. Kabiru Amadu is implementing for the benefit of his constituents,” Governor Lawal said. “This is commendable and deserves encouragement. While the state government handles schools, hospitals, and roads, we need welfare initiatives like this to bolster our efforts.”
The governor also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to its Rescue Mission agenda and assured the lawmaker of continued collaboration and support.
Speaking during the event, Hon. Amadu emphasized that his developmental programs extend beyond transportation, highlighting his ongoing support for education through the payment of students’ tuition and scholarships. “In addition to today’s car and tractor distributions, we are committed to empowering farmers and youths to stimulate agricultural growth and reduce unemployment,” he said.
The event was marked by celebrations from beneficiaries, who praised the lawmaker’s efforts and called on other leaders to emulate his dedication to community development.
