Kogi state Journalists forum at the national assembly has advice all the political parties in the state to be more careful ahead of primary election coming up in the state.
In the press release signed by the chairman of the forum comrade Michael Agbaji and general Secretary Mr Michael Shaibu, the forum advice was as a result of plan by some powerful politician in the state to in posed their anointed political son ahead primary election.
According to the statement, the habit of rotational arrangements in the state has more disadvantage than advantage as it will be difficult for first timers to take position of leadership at both national and state house of assembly.
They advice the politican in the state to learn from their Northern colleagues who has given opportunity to their members at the national assembly, today most of the principal offices and committee is been occupied by them.
The statement advice governor Yahaya Bello who the leader of the ruling party in the state to intervene on the matter and ensure Free and fair primary in the state.
The statement says no doubt some legislature are bench warmer but other have done well, those that have done well should be given more opportunities continue and gained more experience.
They called the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu to the warned politician in the state against any form of imposition candidate in the forthcoming Kogi APC primaries. They advice kogite to be peaceful in the conduct of the all political activities in the state.
