The National Assembly has announced a change in the official resumption date for plenary activities, moving it from Tuesday, September 23, 2025, to Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
In a statement issued on Monday, September 22, 2025, by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana, Esq., the postponement was directed by the presiding officers of both chambers.
Ogunlana noted that while plenary sessions have been rescheduled, committee activities will proceed as planned. He urged all Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members to take note of the adjustment and align their schedules accordingly.
“The inconvenience caused by this rescheduling is deeply regretted,” the statement added.
