The Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Ms. Patricia Olayinka Osibanjo, the Agency’s Chief Information and Public Relations Officer.
Describing her death as a tragic loss to both the Agency and the broader Civil Service, Yakub paid tribute to Osibanjo’s dedication, hard work, and exemplary service throughout her career.
In his condolence message, the NTAC DG highlighted Osibanjo’s commitment to her work, noting that her wealth of experience and contributions would be greatly missed, especially by her junior colleagues who were deprived of her guidance.
He extended his sympathies to her family, the Honourable Minister of Information and Strategy, as well as her friends and colleagues.
Osibanjo was laid to rest in her hometown of Iloti Ijebu, Ogun State, on the afternoon of December 6, 2024. A delegation from NTAC, led by Assistant Director (Audit) Mr. Lawal Adekola, attended the funeral, delivering condolences on behalf of the Director General.
During the funeral, Mr. Olajide James Osibanjo, representing the grieving family, expressed gratitude for the support shown by NTAC, particularly the Agency’s assistance during Osibanjo’s time of illness. He prayed for blessings upon the Agency and its staff, recognizing their continued support during a difficult time.
As the NTAC family and Osibanjo’s loved ones bid her farewell, her legacy of service and dedication will remain an inspiration.
