The Unveiling and Rebranding Nigeria Initiative (URNI), a non-governmental organization, has unveiled an ambitious plan to empower 30 million young entrepreneurs across Nigeria through capacity building.
At a news conference in Abuja, URNI explained that setting up Tech Hubs and Skill Acquisition Centers across Nigeria would be a key strategy to achieve this goal.
According to URNI, the initiative aims to rebrand Nigeria by instilling patriotic zeal in the nation’s young population. This will be achieved through a comprehensive arrangement to celebrate Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and encourage youths to actively contribute to the country’s development.
URNI emphasized its commitment to ensuring that this movement remains citizen-driven, reflecting the voices, hopes, and dreams of all Nigerians.
They disclosed the launch of URNI, scheduled for October 26th in Abuja, will be a pivotal moment for the organization to outline its mission. URNI plans to gather key national stakeholders, policymakers, corporate leaders, community influencers, and citizens committed to national progress.
They reiterated the organization seeks to project a positive image of Nigeria using technology and community engagement to inspire patriotism.
Through continued engagement, outreach, and collaboration, URNI aims to make a lasting impact on Nigeria’s future.
By empowering young entrepreneurs and promoting national development, URNI hopes to create a brighter future for Nigeria. With its comprehensive approach and commitment to citizen-driven change, URNI’s initiative has the potential to transform the nation and inspire a new generation of leaders.
