The Barau I Jibrin Foundation (BIJF), established by Senator (Dr) Barau I Jibrin, CON, Deputy President of the Senate, has made headlines with the release of the first batch of recipients for its 2024 foreign postgraduate scholarships. These scholarships are focused on cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics technology, cybersecurity, and forensic science.
Designed to provide educational and empowerment opportunities, the BIJF has selected deserving students from Kano State’s three Senatorial Districts to pursue advanced studies abroad. Senator Barau’s commitment to promoting academic excellence and driving technological progress in Nigeria has been further solidified with this initiative.
Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, highlighted the foundation’s aim to address the shortage of experts in specialized areas through this scholarship program. The selected beneficiaries are set to receive their admission letters at a special event at the Amani Event Centre in Kano State on September 9th, 2024.
