The five-day training program on Agricultural Value Chain Skills Acquisition organized by Senator Abba Moro for his constituents in Abuja has come to a successful conclusion. The senator, who represents Benue South Senatorial District and is the Senate Minority Leader, aimed to equip his unemployed constituents with the relevant skills and knowledge for agro-allied businesses.
During the closing ceremony, Senator Moro emphasized the importance of embracing agriculture as a source of income, especially in a time when white-collar jobs are scarce. He highlighted the potential of the agricultural sector as a gold mine for job opportunities and encouraged participants to make the most of the skills they acquired.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Senator Moro urged them to utilize their newfound knowledge for self-reliance and to create job opportunities for others in their communities. He expressed his well wishes for their future endeavors and promised to continue with similar empowerment programs in the future.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude towards Senator Moro for his efforts in alleviating their suffering and providing them with valuable skills. They commended his leadership and commitment to the development of his constituency, pledging their continued support and prayers.
A total of 200 beneficiaries from various parts of Benue South took part in the training, which commenced on December 2nd. Senator Moro’s initiative has been widely praised for its impact on the community and for empowering individuals to succeed in the agricultural sector.
