The Chairman Senate Committee on Livestock Development Senator Mustapha has commented president Ahmed Bola Tinubu for the establishment of the Ministry of Livestock.
According to him, the creation of this. Ministry has received commendation Specially form the people of Yobe State.
Senator Mustapha, the Chairman Senate Committee on Livestock Development, appointed today by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, expressed that establishing the Ministry of Livestock is a welcome development, especially for the people of Yobe State.
The senator, representing Yobe East Senatorial Districts, said this while speaking with journalists in his office on Wednesday in Abuja.
He highlighted the efforts of past governments in combating the Boko Haram insurgency in the northeast, emphasizing that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration continues to implement policies and programs aimed at addressing this threat and other forms of criminality nationwide.
“These administrations have endeavored to tackle the Boko Haram insurgency through various policies and programs,” Senator Mustapha remarked.
Following the removal of former Senate Majority Chief Whip, Senator Ali Ndume, the Senator from Yobe East Senatorial Districts stated that the party’s decision was justified. “As a party member, loyalty is paramount. It is not advisable for senior party members with significant influence to openly challenge the government,” he stated.
The Senator stressed the importance of addressing issues through appropriate channels. “There are numerous effective ways to communicate our message. I believe the party’s actions and the Senate’s decision were appropriate and progressive.”
