Chairman House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee investigating the operations of real estate developers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Hon Blessing Onuh, has told the estate developers in FCT that the national assembly as a representative of people will not watching them defrauding Nigerians of their money.
Mrs Onuh stated these in the public hearing on the investigation of the operation of FCT Estate developers in Abuja.
According to her, the House is inundated with complaints by members of the public against the operations of the developers.
She said the House has mandated her committee to investigate the operations of developers in the FCT and liaise with stakeholders to create legislation act that can curb sharp practices.
Onuh disclosed that the committee will pay attention to all the complain from the victim and will be fair all parties involved.
In the welcome address the speaker of house of representative Hon.Femi Gbajabiamila represented by the leader of the house Hon.Ado Adogowa express the concern house that that a representative of people they will not watch an individual fruading a hard working Nigerian of their money.
Also speaking the Minister of FCT, mallam Muhammad musa Bello has commended the house for timing response to the cried of Nigerians and he promised the cooperation ministry to deliver their mandate.
The ICPC chairman ,Prof Bolaji Owasanoye also promise that his ministry will collaborate with national assembly to prosecute whoever is fine one thing also speaking EFCC chairman represented by a Director in the agency deliver the good will message, other agencies of government and civil society were in attendance.
