The Benue APC Media Team (BAMET) paid a congratulatory visit to the newly appointed Executive Director, Housing, Finance and Accounts, Federal Housing Authority, Dr. Mathias Ibyuan in his Abuja residence.

The team led by its leader, Daniel Ihomun described the All Progressives Congress chieftain as a pillar for those made weak through time, and prayed God in his infinite grace never forsake him as he takes up a challenging role to help address the housing deficit in Nigeria in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Members of the team from Zones A, B and C took turns and spoke through Terungwa Nunde, Stephen Chiluun and Adah Ochojila who doubles as the Acting State Secretary of the party in Benue state respectively.

Nunde reminded the host of the sacrifices of the team and how the current administration in the state has relegated the team having worked tirelessly for the success of the party in the 2023 elections.

He further appealed to Dr. Byuan to always consider members of BAMET in his plans and ultimately teach them how to fish, so that going forward, the team members will become foot soldiers in their local communities as imitators of Chief Byuan’s lifestyle, which bothers on doing good to all and sundry.

Stephen Chiluun recounted the team’s first encounter with Dr. Byuan in 2021 during his governorship aspiration. He comically told the gathering how him and the rest of team went home better after the encounter.

Chiluun added, “What is good for the team is already known to you as a helper of all people. Benue State may be having a political distortion, but we are sure that with men of your standing in society, God will save the land from those who have become false accusers and generally economical with the truth.”

The State Acting Secretary of the APC, Adah Ochojila on his part collaborated the encomiums poured out on the Executive Director, adding that Benue people need a firm and purposeful leadership from good people like Dr. Mathias Byuan.

He prayed God to protect and graciously guide the life of the ED always.

Hon. Mike Msuaan who was also present, commended BAMET for resilience and unwavering support to the party. He tasked the group to square their shoulders, promising to ensure that members would be carried along by the special grace of God.

Chief Ibyuan in his remarks, graciously thanked Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding him worthy of the appointment as Executive Director, Housing Finance and Accounts, Federal Housing Authority. He equally expressed his gratitude to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. Dr. George Akume for facilitating the appointment.

Chief Byuan emphatically extolled the virtue of perseverance exhibited by the media wing of the party for so long. He said the doors to his office will always be opened to BAMET, saying “I have watched you all fight for the APC in Benue and won. You are brave soldiers and your reward is infact right here before you. God will never forsake any of you.”

In his closing remarks, the leader of BAMET, Hon. Daniel Morgan Ihomun, thanked the ED for lavishly hosting the party’s media. He promised that with the motivation so far, BAMET will surely live up to expectations.
