In order to encourage unity and oneness as well as appreciate excellence among deserving members of Gombe extraction in National Assembly.
The Association of Gombe State Indegene held their maiden edition of award of excellence on Monday 17th November, 2025 at the National Assembly complex.
In his welcome address, the chairman of the central planning committee, Abbas Haruna Hosea Ph.D acknowledged the pivotal role that distinguished Senator Muhammed Danjuma Goje played in terms of human and capital development in Gombe when he served as the governor of the state.
While making his speech, James Linga Ph.D who is the association chairman highlighted what the association hopes to achieve, he decried the low number of Gombe indegenes employed in the National Assembly and also requested for assisstance to have a liaison office .
High point of the event was the presentation of award to deserving members; three senators and one honorable member received awards.
