Following several high-level engagements with Young AfCFTA players within the continent and in the diaspora, a consortium of Pan-African Youth Lead CSOs both in Africa and from the Diaspora set to host what will seem to be one of the biggest gatherings of Afcfta young enthusiast, players, and policymakers in the current history of the AfCFTA implementation window.
Speaking about the event, Amb. Bright Etornam Letsu, Planning committee Chairman and ECOWAS Regional Director for Great Minds Empire Africa also known as the African Center for Youth Development, Education and Advocacy Initiative said” Working together with key players in the private sector and diplomatic institutions like the office of the Ambassador to African Diaspora Collective USA, The CEO Roundtable from Nigeria, Impact for Change Network from Ghana, SUYAWI from Uganda, just to mention but few, the AfCFTA Young Implementers Summit will be the first of its kind and a chromatic opportunity to bring together ordinary young enterprises/entrepreneurs to engage and seek first-hand information whiles representing the voices of their communities/unions on the trade front on a much high-level grounds as well as renewing confidence in the AfCFTA implementation framework and accelerated progress made so far on the continent in line with the declaration of AU principles governing trade in Africa. Thus, aligned with one of our registered objectives, to work towards the realization of the African Union Agenda 2063, Africa Continental Free Trade Area, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.”
