The attention of the members of APC Aspirants Forum has been drawn to a Vanguard Newspaper publication of Nov 24, 2020 canvassing for Yari, as best replacement for Oshiomole as APC national chairman. The statement is signed by one Bashir Muhammed Yusif who has been parading himself as the National Coordinator of APC Aspirants Forum.
We here by state categorically that Bashir Muhammed Yusif was unanimously suspended as BOT Chairman of APC Aspirants Forum in 2019, for gross misconduct and non payments of full expression of interest and nomination fees for House of Representatives.
We therefore urge Bashir Muhammed Yusif to immediately stop parading himself as National Coordinator of APC Aspirants Forum until he is readmitted into the Forum.
We also bring to the notice of the general public that in June 2019, APC Aspirants Forum was restructured nationwide and Lt. Col Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua (Retired) emerged as the National coordinator of the Forum.
The NEC, BOT, 6 Zonal Chapters, 36 States including FCT Chapters, Local Government Chapters down to the Ward level were also formed.
We therefore urged
Vanguard Newspaper to retract the publication immediately and tender apology to the entire APC Aspirants Forum.
