Headline: Kogi state government urge Nigeria to emulate Kogi state on 35 percent womaninclusiveness

Kogi State is said to have more than 35% affirmative for political appointment for Women in Kogi State.

Hon. Abdullahi Bello stated this at the reception organised to welcome him as the reelected State Chairman APC Kogi State yesterday in Abuja.

According to him, ” Kogi State is more than 35% affirmative; as a matter of fact, we have 40% for women.”

Hon. Bello who used the opportunity to buttress on top positions occupied by women in Kogi State also said, ” Governor Yahaya Bello made it mandatory and gave women chances to run office they desire.”
In his words:

“The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State is a woman. The Head of Service is a woman; all the Vice Chairmen and Council Leaders are women and other sensitive positions.”

He maintained that 2023 is fast approaching and charged women to contest for various political positions.
He also applaud GYB leadership styles which has silence the opposition party in the state.

According to him, ” there is no more opposition party in Kogi State. He was recently branded shield of Kogi State, as a result of his giant strides.”

Addressing the participants at the occasion, Rt. Hon. Prince Kolawale Matthew, Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly said Hon Abdullahi Bello have assisted many people in Kogi State to occupy various political positions.

He described him as a competent leader who is knowledgeable, “ I am proud of you. You are competent; you have done it before and will do it again.”

Hon. Prince prayed God to continue to be with him.
In his Contribution, Sen. Smart Adeyemi expressed appreciation for Hon Abdullahi Bello. He mentioned some of his unique character and pledged his loyalty and support.

Sen Adeyemi who said he grew up in Kogi State also said he dines and wine with them; also they are good people and great State
